Lyons Davidson Solicitors

Lyons Davidson have been pretty usesless in assisting me, the time it has taken them to consider a viable claim, which they initially agreed to take on but then decided not to, months after acknowledging the claim has been extremely poor. This is not based on the criteria of the case being over 50% successful, which it is but more of a case that the company refuse to do their jobs and provide an adequate basic service. Unfortunately, I have felt it necessary to raise a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman & Financial Services Authority.

Please avoid, avoid, avoid this company. I am being harassed by these lawyers or should I say liars for a number of months now via Aviva insurance for an accident I was not part of. They have been paid and overpaid in relation to this claim from the appropriate party and they are still perusing me. Countless times I called and was promised a response and call back but they are using the tactic to keep quiet and not admit the error so I can't use their correspondence as harassment in court. Team, don't worry, karma will do it's magic :)

Very poor claims handling. My claim passed insurance validation checks stages then it got passed onto panel solicitors Lyons Davidson only to be told my claim is not covered under my policy.

I feel scammed out of a bogus LEI policy, they wriggle out of anything and twist words for any excuse not to provide cover.

Complaint to FOS imminent

So things started off not to well as we had a change of solicitors about 5-6 times. However we eventually got Marco Severini dealing with our case and I have to say he was brilliant, great communication, always called when he said he would and followed up with paperwork as stated. He never rushed us and was always happy to explain the legal speak so we understood things clearly. He hired a really good barrister called James Nieto on the day of our hearing and I'm delighted to say we WON..... Highly recommend

Dealing with this firm has been possibly one of the most upsetting, frustrating and anxiety causing experiences of my life. Involved in a car accident nearly a year ago, the claim seems to be going no where quickly, with over 10 incidents of them not communicating to my questions or queries, via portal or email, in their own set time frame or in some instances, not replying at all. There was a 2 month delay on sorting out my medical reports, causing a delay to the MRI I needed. So far I have raised two complaints, dealt with by two different people, to be promised the delays in communication will not happen again, they will personally monitor my case etc. On both occasions, less than a few weeks after each of these promises, the standard has fallen again back to no responses in their set time frame. Dealing with this company has made an already stressful and upsetting time, whilst dealing with a permanent spinal injury as a result of the accident, incredibly difficult.
I have involved the legal ombudsman and asked to make yet another complaint.
I will update this review if by some miracle they manage to keep to their promises, but until then, I'd strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs.

I've been referred to lyons from my axa car insurance legal cover. But they have been unresponsive and promised to call back but never do. Completely wasted paying the extra cost for legal cover.
