lovely helpful staff, swim instructors and fun pool. whole place needs a revamp. smells of wee in changing rooms and toilets. needs to be cleaned and bins changed more frequently showers are always breaking down and not the right temperature. also can only have direct debit on the date the suits the centre not the customer.

We went to the centre for the aqua challenge. Booking it was a pain because the conformation of booking page showed an error and at the same time it said that the payment had gone through but we didn't get an email with the ticket. So, we had to call. Busy signal for quite a while. When we managed to get hold of the reception the staff were helpful and found the booking. They weren't able to send us the the email with the ticket.
Being in the centre is ok. Not all pools are open all the time. I'm not sure why as there were quite a few lifeguards there.
The diving pool usually takes 1 lifeguard but it was closed for some reason. The leisure pool was "surrounded" by guards.
They were all helpful and doing their job.
Then the showers were quite bad. Different water temperature and the water pressure seemed low.
The whole experience was ok but it would have been better if all people weren't cramped into 1 small leisure pool.

It was a fab afternoon. I went with my daughter and two grandsons. One of them has been learning to swim there with his school. He has been six times and I was shocked at how well he can swim. I'm am so proud how far he has come. So it was lovely to see him swim so confidently. One super proud nanny here.

Swimming lessons here are a bit chaotic, no great access to the poolside drop-off that doesn't involve walking through the changing rooms which when you have bags, a baby and shoes etc is not easy, especially when there is school lessons taking place and its very busy. Could also be a lot cleaner.

Bit disappointed with the fun pool. Lazy river wasn't working. Wave machine & flume were ok. Kids liked it but liked the Polar experience more. Pretty good value for money. Car parking is free. Not allowed to takes photos of the pool.

A fantastic leisure centre in the heart of Maidstone. It's huge and well presented. Some updating would be good in areas but budgets are tough I guess. The sports halls are massive and there are loads of activities to do. Many fun times to be had. The swimming is very good too. Large lane pool and diving area. Also a learner pool and a large children's pool with water games and a wave pool. Lots of fun for all ages. We've taken our 8month old Son to the pool and it's lovely. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Theres hot food, snacks, soft drinks and coffees next to the swimming pool. Lots of parking also and an award winning huge wooded park and lakes next door. Loads to enjoy.
Worth enjoying over and over. Great Leisure Centre. Recommended.

My daughter goes to swimming lessons here. They are good value. Certificates always take a while to be in stock, but ok apart from that. It's give or take whether the leisure pool has enough life guards to have all facilities open. Staff are friendly though and do their best. Changing rooms are well maintained
