An good gym. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy.
The free weights are ok, not the best.
The cardio machines and other equipment were modern and of a good standard.

A beautiful steam room, sauna and spa are.
Lacking in showers (only 2) which got blocked twice and horrid scummy water just floated around until someone came to unplug the drains. Ruins an otherwise excellent experience.

The changing facilities and lockers were too small.
Only accommodates 4 adults changing at anyone time, else you’re left waiting for space.

A poor design overall, where there is 3 separate small changing area for this gym.

Suggestion: Why not create one large spacious clean changing area with good sized lockers?

Just been swimming this morning for social distance swim, the place was very organised one-way system. You wait outside before your bookes time slot. They also take your temperature on the way in. Book your place online by the website again really simple to do. You don't put your stuff in a locker, they have a designated bag drop on the poolside. To ensure the changing rooms are cleaned after every use they have a red and green sticker policy on the outside of the doors, you only use the green ones and then there's a piece of velcro on the sticker you turn it ovee when youve finished in the changing room then they know to clean that cubicle for the next person and no use of showers e.t.c. at the moment and you exits into the car park but I would definitely recommend going.

The swimming lessons are excellent and we can not recommend Zoe enough as a teacher. She is brilliant! The changing rooms always have a funny drain smell and staff work hard cleaning the area frequently. The viewing gallery to watch swimming lessons is always so hot especially in the summer. The facilities could do with being modernised

The pool and session are fine for us with 2 babies but one lady on reception is so unbelievably rude when we come on a Sunday morning. She Huff's and puff's serving people like you are inconveniencing her day. We asked her to help us with the children's card you can pay for that makes swimming cheaper when we finished our session as we had tried multiple times online and it wouldn't do it. She went yeah it's all online so we explained we had tried and it doesnt do it. She said well you can use our iPad and smirked and said well that's all I can do and laughed 🤷🏼‍♀️. I was absolutely disgusted and what annoyed me more is whilst we were in the queue before we went swimming she did it for someone else!! Hence why I asked. So if your face fits with her your fine... It's really put me off how rude she is to everyone unless you face fits which is disappointing as everything else is fine. It really is annoying as it was great here for swimming but do I want to spend my money somewhere when the main person who greets you, laughs in your face and doesn't want to give any customer service when she is in a customer services role?!?

Swim session is fine (parent & toddler) but the changing facilities are awful, there's very few with a baby change table in and even fewer with enough room for you to have the baby change down to put baby on and then get changed yourself. You'd think with it supposed to be family friendly the actually baby change changing rooms would be big enough for a baby & atleast 1 adult but preferably 2. If you don't get one you waste your time & money having to wait for one. Also have to agree with other reviews about one of the ladies on reception being very rude.

Only use the pool, but it is decent.
Changing rooms are fine, could do with mopping a bit more regularly

I booked for the spa.
No details given about the sauna or aromatherapy room being out of action at the time of booking.
The staff didn't say anything when I checked in.
Only the steam room available. ☹️
Talked to other customers and they'd been out of action for a while.

I've only been here a few times. There are lots of equipment and the gym has different sections, so there is room for all. Spa needs a bit of updating, and I wish there were more cleaning materials as not everyone cleans up after themselves. But, for the price paid, it's a good gym with a variety of classes.
