Joined up but following a week of training there l cancelled my membership. The equipment is old. Basic. Too many guys in the chest room and not enough equipment to go round. Running machines incline decline doesnt work. Some peoples hygeine are so bad they stink a whole room out. Asked for my money back for paying for all of a month up front and was declined. In my 14 day cooling off period l should get a refund but the fat miserable woman kay on the desk said no you dont get it back. Well l hope you tell people before they join up then cause l surely wasnt told l wouldnt get a refund! Stinky place

First went to this place 30 years ago. Have always had the best gym equipment available through the years.Very friendly staff and members.

Great gym. All the best equipment. Really friendly and helpful staff. Can get a bit busy. Phone reception isn't always great in certain rooms and it can get pretty hot in the summer. Only Machine I would say it lacks is assured pull up. Plenty of non assistance. Has fans in all the rooms. Has a showed facility and good lockers. Use a card to acres upstairs part of the gym. Lots of glasses running and a good sized sports hall. Highly recommended. Massive car park and opening times are good.

1st visit after gym reopened after Covid.
Possibly my last.
I have been a member of this gym for a number if years.
I visited here this morning for a class and the elderly guy on reception (I don’t know his name)was extremely unpleasant, unhelpful and quite obnoxious.
I asked a reasonable question about another class and his tone of voice and attitude to customers is very rude and unprofessional, not a one off, he’s usually unpleasant but worse now.
Also the class I attended was not great,
Although I like to exercise to music, this was so loud I couldn’t hear what the instructor was saying, after several attempts at saying I couldn’t hear I gave up listening.

Meadowfield is now open again. You will need to book on line as numbers are limited, social distancing applies, one way system and you will need to clean the equipment before and after use. The staff are friendly and helpful and will explain the process on your arrival.

Very poor quality gym with very limited number of equipment, don't mention the showers, it get flodeded if two people are showering at the same time!

When will someone look at the age group of the customers that attend the centre particularly on a morning.the music is horrendous and it's like training in a night club.boom boom boom.i would suggest something more appropriate for the clientele at the time of day.60/70/80s.
Thanks.
