Upside Staff are great.. helpful and knowledgeable.. Great gym and pool that's accessible for wheelchair users.
Downside: Downstairs Disabled showers don't work properly (no hot water) and has been like this since November 2017 was told it was the responsibility of the council that own the building!! Disgusting that the council don't care. The 'Better' staff have been helpful with trying to resolve this but have been unsuccessful so far.

Don't take your kids to the soft play area unless you want them to get a stomach bug like my one year old did. The place is very dirty and doesn't look like it has ever been cleaned. The mattresses and all the toys are just put back in the storage area at the end of the day- without anything being cleaned, including the inflatable castle. Shocking, as this is for small kids and not for dogs! Never taking my child to this place ever again. Management, sort this out as kids are getting sick!!
Edit- after complaining at the centre about the lack of hygiene, the manager kindly explained that they clean the soft play area once a month as that's their policy. ONCE A MONTH!!! How is this supposed to be enough??!! It's for kids from 6 months onwards!!! This must change. Management, review your policy and update me on what's been done to improve this issue.

the worst team the most worst place for children! I had a very bad situation with them ! I will try to be very brief… my children were members of swimming classes the day has come to go swimming with my 3-year-old child and I took my daughter of 7 years and 11 months with me because she was on holiday from school we have nowhere to leave and I thought that she would be waiting for me in the hall I could see her ! they did not allow me to enter in the water with the child because the girl is not eight years old and is not allowed to be alone ! Really!!!! She is nearly 8 !!! why ? why ? you have to pay for swimming lessons but you can't use it because you have another child it is your problem what you are doing with your kids!!! mainly to pay !!! this is our rules!!!
The manager was very rude , crude by name Zak!!! I was thinking of canceling membership a long time ago because it is waist of money too much kids in groups 0 potential for kids very cold water! the changing rooms smell horrible!!! if you have children, think many times before taking them there!!!

Booking service on line dreadful if you want swimming for children and staff at the centre in person are trained to direct you to book online. If trying to call on the phone - make a cuppa and sit back for a never answered phone!
If you are calling about a gym membership and choose that call option - then ignore the above they will answer the phone and be so helpful!

Big, open and bright. There is a leg machine for every muscle, plenty of cardio machines and plenty of upper body equipment. Lots of fitness classes to choose from. If you time it well you can have the gym to yourself. Staff are always helpful especially a lad called Jordan. He helped me sign up and is always helpful, humble and smiling.

The actual swimming centre is okay if you go at weekends. During the weekdays they have the lines up as if it's a fitness gym swim and not just a swim for all even though it says it was on the booking information. And if you book and cancel that booking 5 days in advance they still take your money. Not going again just in case another emergency happens and they take another £20.

Extremely rude unprofessional staff. No phones to reach them and they don't take any responsibility for their faults! Keep away, they are not trust worthy especially with kids.
Update: how could I discuss this further with you if you don't have telephone number or any other way of communication?! If you are really interested and willing to resolve the issue, you have my contact information!

Good swimming but since COVID you can't book a family ticket so now it's almost £7 more expensive. Really not very family oriented and if you ring it says they are a charitable company 🤣🤣
