The gym seems to be going down hill of late - It's actual the worst gym facility I have been to. It's a real health and safety issue with weights not being racked up on a regular basis. I have voiced my concerns with staff & management without any improvement. Further to this issue the gym area does not seem to be cleaned on a regular basis, or at all. The water fountain has also been leaking for several months. In my view very simple fixes to improve the appearance and safety for gym users, I put this down to laziness from management.

Came here last week.
The receptionist was kind and we didn't wait too long to get inside.
The pool was warm and perfect a perfect temperature for kids, if you are an adult you would probably prefer it colder though. No problem for me as I was there with multiple kids including a 3 year old that was comfortable in the water.
Its a fun swimming pool for kids with a great slide that you will only use once because of the queue and the fact that it's closed most the time and only opens for a short window in between sessions .

The reason for a low rating is the foul hygiene, I've been to many swimming places and this is by far the dirtiest. Hair and other stuff I'd rather not mention all over the changing room floors. The mens changing room in particular smells awful and can be smelt from outside the changing room in the area near the showers.
The family changing area/group changing is also awfully grimm. I felt very uncomfortable getting changed.
I want to come back because the pool experience itself was good but I likely won't because the hygiene is so bad I'd rather not.
This place needs more regular cleaning between sessions or even during sessions when everyone is in the pool.
I know most swimming pool places don't have perfect hygiene and I can usually put up with it, but this place was just miles off which hygiene. The following day I contracted Covid-19 and I cant say I'm not surprised.
I'm now isolating and may potentially miss my holiday

The changing rooms are so dirty it is like nothing I have ever seen in my life, I'm talking like actual rubbish all over the floor in every cubicle and visible hair and dirt ask over the floor to the point where I had to carry my toddler who is quite heavy the entire time we were there, if he wasn't so excited about the prospect of going swimming I would have definitely left the moment I saw the changing room . The pool is okay but the website said that the water features would be available after 2 and they weren't which was frustrating because we based our day around going when they were open. The staff were unnecessarily unfriendly was just a strange place/atmosphere.

welcoming at the front desk was your okay greeting by staff chewing gum, upon entering the changing rooms the floor was slimly with only a few grip mats dotted around, bins was full in most rooms.

When entering the pool I was stoped by the life gaurd who asked my age and as I told him Im nearly 30 years old he laughed and started to decriminat against me.

After as short swim in a very unhygienic pool (filled with hairs, dirt and bits of debris floating around) every one was made to get out the pool and stand at the side like chrildren which made me have to end my swim short because my disability as can't stand for long periods of time. (Maybe if your going to use this method of remove anit social people then you should provide seating for disabled and elderly people at pool side)

So after leaving I went to the front desk to ask for a refund were I was told to wait for a manager that took over 20mins before speaking to me still didn't get a refund but the managers aprently going to speak to customer service and get back to me. Hopefully they can improve on these problems to provide a better service as with 2 pools, water slides and a gym it has the potential to be a good leisure centre.

Disgusting! I am a new full access member there. I joined a month ago. One of the staff at the swimming pool was irresponsible and disrespectful.
I was in the sauna, there was no one except me. Staff named Amy came to me and asked about my booking for the sauna and I said no then she left the door open and shut the heater and lights without any warning or explanation. I didn't know that I needed booking for the sauna. After that I left the sauna and went to take shower. Until I come back she threw my bottle of water into the bin. It was on the hump next to the sauna. I called and asked her about my bottle of water. She didn't even look at the back to respond to me. Then she came back and I asked again, she pointed the bin and said that it's inside there and told me to take it from the bin and said that the bin was clean. I asked the reason "why?" She said that she was cleaning. It was around 16:45 on 29th of October, Saturday. Her name was Amy.

I have never seen any service like that before. There is no explanation, no warning and on top of that very rude.
Why isn't anyone teaching the staff how to treat to customers?!
Why isn't nobody controlling her?!
Why should I be treated like that as a member who is paying there monthly?!
Who gave her the right to treat members like this?!
I hope, you will check this review to improve your service in the future in order to not lose your loyal members!

The water in the pool for fitness was super cold! I did not like an idea that team members cleaning floors with a brush and water taken from the pool and adding random amount of a cleaning liquid. As example, in the Glass Mill centre in Lewisham, they use high pressure cleaner and everything is much cleaner.

Been going at this centre for gym and swimming now as a continuous member for just over 2 years. Staffs have been great so as gym/sport equipment that are available for customers to use. Staff such as Daniel, PT/PI, gave me really good advice on diet and workout. He is really become a friend now as I do see him so often. Needless to say all the staffs are nice, courteous and friendly. I do hope more people can see the positives and join a good center that has been standing for many years providing their utmost services to their local and faraway citizens.

Went here for a family fun swimming day, and for my 16 week olds first swimming experience.
I have to say I was rather disappointed in the pool’s temperature, as my 16 week old was shivering and even myself and my partner found the water to be a shock when we entered the baby’s pool, due to the coldness. The normal/recommended temperature for babies under 6months in a pool should be 30-32 degrees. The water we was in was between 26-27 degrees.
As for the changing facilities… there isn’t enough changing stations for babies in the family changing department, and majority of the bins were overflowing (so shows they are not regularly checked.)
As for the women’s toilet (there are only 3 cubicals) two were blocked up with toilet paper and the third was just a mess.
First time going here as thought it would be good for my family and my eldest child as there was slides.

On a positive note… the staff are very nice and pleasant.
