Selby Leisure Centre

I love the leisure centre. Staff are always helpful but I really want to shine a light on Debbie and her classes. I've been coming to her zumba for a while and recently started doing her RPM classes and she's just brilliant. Always puts 100% in, she's friendly and approachable. As an anxiety sufferer, it wasn't easy to start attending the gym but Debbie's classes have such a great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Closing the gym at 9 is poor for those that work late and have to get kids to bed etc before a workout. Fairly pointless opening hours

Another case of a gym trying to rinse you of your money , do not believe their lies when they tell you you can cancel given a months notice , they like to hide 12 month clauses and give out false information, unlike any modern and successful gym run nowadays that have contracts that are relatively easy to get out of , Avoid!

reception staff are utterly miserable, give no helpful advice and are very passive aggressive. gym equipment is run down and they are money hungry, 0/10 would not recommend

Theres no wonder places like this end up going down the pan, like trying to get into Fort Knox just to go swimming with my daughter!! Don’t understand why you guys need so many of my details…

Swimming is broken up into sessions, why?? On our first visit we weren’t informed of this and so we were kicked out of the pool after only 20 minutes. You can book adult swimming online but you have to ring up to book children’s swimming, thats if the phone gets answered…you also say locker tokens are 20p on your website but they are in fact £1.

Don’t usually leave reviews, but it’s just mental how awkward you can make something as simple as going swimming.

Beware: They will do everything they can to stop you cancelling the renewal of your membership, extremely poor customer service and clearly miss informs customers on appropriate actions to take when cancelling to lock you in for another year , AVOID

I really enjoy using the Leisure centre, I find all the staff helpful and friendly. I particularly love swimming and Aqua Zumba with Debbie, she is a fantastic instructor and puts a lot of work into her classes which in turn makes them hard to book because they are so popular. One happy customer 😊👍

A brilliant leisure centre, with plenty of classes and facilities to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff with an extra shout out to all reception staff, lifeguards and instructors. A big 'thank you' to Debbie for all her hard work and great classes...loving zumba, barbell pump, pilates, aquazumba and RPM!!
