Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre

I attended a yoga class here tonight and enjoyed a really good class, it was very relaxing and led by a calm, clear and friendly instructor called Maria. I was pleasantly surprised that the class was held with the lights down low and that the room was carpeted and kept lovely and warm. It was an extremely good experience and I will be coming again. There has been a definite shift in my mood as a result, for the better. I have also attended the excellent Zumba Classes by Suzy, at the leisure centre, she is a ball of motivating energy and enthusiasm and her classes are excellent at making me feel more energised. I must also point out that the leisure centre staff on the front desk could not be more helpful, or friendly. They are very proactive in reaching out to help and asking if you need anything and in doing everything they can to welcome you into the centre.

Good facilities. Showers and toilet should be separated, because if your showering and dressing, the person in the toilet is doing No.2, it can be embarrassing to hear them? It's a small cubicle area.

Friendly staff and a well equipped gym made for an enjoyable session. As a visitor to the area it was a pleasant surprise to find this excellent gym, especially with plenty of parking.

Really good gym! Good prices and really good staff! Although a relatively small gym, there is everything you need. The classes are fun and varied!

First visit at the gym here. Gym is in 2 rooms, a mix of CV equipment and weight machines and free weights. Clean changing rooms, lockers available opposite squash courts. Friendly, helpful staff.
