A beautiful place from my childhood. I know take my kids here. Shame its not busier. We love it 😀

Rubbish, checked the opening times on the website only to find that when I arrived at 9.15am that it did not open until 10am not 9am as stated, there is no information posted outside, I waited until 10.05, the door were still shut with quite a few people waiting, I left my book on the floor outside.
This does not encourage people to use the library service.

The most chilled out, progressive and well-stocked library in Lancashire

Burnley Library is hub of the community and the staff give an excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent team work. Thanks for my visit.

The childrens library used to be upstairs - its now moved downstairs with the adult library. Its not ideal.

Local treasure that deserves every bit of community support it can get. Only just moved to the area and I have been enjoying going on a weekend. Building is amazing and there is a good range of books. History room downstairs is excellent. Children's area is well stocked and very well set out. Ample seating to read, study, rest, etc. Computers available and free tea and coffee if wanted. Friendly and helpful staff that are a credit to the community. Really great!
