Nelson Library

Not a great place anymore. Went today and found out there was a complitely different staff there. All nice ladies were moved into Colne. I dealt with three new people, all men and were not nice. Not welcoming, not smiling, not listening what you really want to say. I was particularly "impressed" with the oldest one, in blue shirt and in glasses. An angry man. He interfered and shouted at me though I did not talk to him. An abrupt hostility - this was how I was welcomed by him. It is the first time I was treated like this in this library and I was their customer for nearly 17 years. It was very unexpected and upsetting. They explained that Nelson library has not got many visitors now, therefore it was moved from class A to class B. Well, if the staff will treat their customers this way then they will lose the rest of their visitors and close down soon. Wonder if these people were put in this library on purpose for the sake of scaring the customers away in order to have a reason for closing this library down? Do not want to go to this library ever again. Prefer to go somewhere further but being treated properly , with respect and not getting upset by staff who has no idea how to treat a customer.

Today I have visited first time here for my registration, the staff is really good, responsible and very well coming. Specially Mr Darren is very kind and great person, he has done my registration very quickly. Good experience for me. Thank alot

Come here for a snooze, to talk tittle-tattle and escape religious school. Alternatively, have a go on a computer: They wheeze and go about as fast an an octogenarian with a pacemaker. Still, it's a great place to "deals" And learn a foreign language from the various newspapers lying around.
