Terrific Library with an inspiring show of
historical exhibits. Wonderful kids space.
Tasty refreshments. Easy access. Use it
or lose it.

Checked this morning that the library is open and confirmed that it was open from 10am.
Travelled into town and parked at the library car park managing to get the last space. Paid £1.50 for one hour.
Got into the library where I was asked if I am returning books. Also said that I am browsing and was informed that the browsing section was not open.
After particularly checking the website I was annoyed that no information was available to that end.
I would have thought that someone would have have updated the website as soon as possible with the latest info. After all it doesn't take 5 minutes to do it.
In these trying times for all of us some consideration would be of help.

What an amazing building.
Looks newly refurbished.

Lots of seating area.

Brilliant childrens book area.

Excellent magazine selection.

Shop on site.

Lots of students were studying there. Only criticism is when they chst, we can all hear conversations downstairs.

Good cafe area.

They signed me up as a member of the library within three minutes. Lovely calm atmosphere with huge selection of new books. Didn't try the coffee shop but looked great and will try it next time.

I visit to use the quiet spaces for work from time to time. And it's a pleasant place to go!

My children also enjoy borrowing books and, when younger, the singing and play groups

Thanks Winchester Arc.

I've been working on my confidence and my anxiety for a while now, and going to a library and picking out a book has been on my recovery list for a while. I finally went today, and was helped by two really sweet colleagues- I can't remember their names unfortunately! But they gave me loads of recommendations, and one went as far to to find a book for me and add it to my collection.
I came away with four books and I'm really excited to read them!

Such a great fun filled educational day out. Kids of all ages enjoyed themselves as did us adults.
