Ickenham Library

I've never actually used the library for it's main purpose: rather I used to pop in to collect recycling bags. Not a crowded place. It has a small car park.

The library has a group of teenage boys upstairs who are always talking loudly every afternoon. Also the librarians are always talking to each other about their home life. Your staff need to take a leaf out of Amersham library Chesham Library and Croxley green library staff who are always so friendly, approachable and never talking about their home life. I have got so much more work done at Amersham library , Chesham library and Croxley green library than I have done at Ickenham library.

Lovely library. Very friendly staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Staff were not very nice, did not have enough money to print off my daughters homework for the next day and asked if I could bring in the extra 30p the next day. They told me no and would not even look at me. I have a Hillingdon first card and live down the road. I said I would leave something there. They Made me feel humiliated and very emotional as I pleaded for them to let me as my daughters homework was due in the next day. As someone who works for the council I do not believe they were ‘putting residents first’. After that a senior manager said it was ok however I’m still annoyed by the woman who was so dismissive of my needs. It dosnt hurt to be nice to someone in a bad situation .

Very nice ,it was nice to se the ladys again ,but I wish they would let us use the back room ,after all we are knitting for charity.

Very helpful and willing to walk an extra mile to help my grandsons find books in the library.
