Its great to see a library update and change to suit the needs of the wider community. Plenty of space for laptop users on the upper floors. It may not be the quietest but bring a pair of headphones and all is solved. The background chitter- chatter and occasional sing-song make for a warm and inviting space. Also very well lit due to the central atrium.

This is the best library in Hillingdon by a long stretch. Huge selection of books, computer terminals, coffee and drinks. Plenty of meetings and activities for people of all ages. It's not always quiet here but so what! Things move on and libraries have had to change with the times and Uxbridge library have succeeded in this. Well done.

Great service whenever I have visited.

They have several computer stations to work from, which allows up to 5 pages to be printed, currently free of charge.

Definitely have been a lifesaver recently when I’ve needed to print things out.

Useful tip is to get there on the hour to use a computer for up to 45 minutes, otherwise you only get around 10 minutes at any other time.

Awful library. Came here to study for my finals instead of my unis library which is an hour away; wont be making that mistake again. Needed to print out notes but they charge outrageous prices for printing: 20p for black and white, 40p for colour per A4 page while providing 600dpi. The printer they use cant even do double sided printing which i thought shouldve been a given, any £30 print can do double sided printing, let alone a (probably) £500+ one. Used to be 5p for b/w and 10p for colour. Carpet stained everywhere. Theres always obnoxiously loud events happening with kids screaming 80% of the time. One time there was an entire band playing loud music in the centre that resonated everywhere. Computers are heavily outdated, my grandma has a faster pc. All pcs run windows 7 in a day and age where a windows 10 key costs less than the print price of 1 sheet of coloured paper. There used to be iMacs but i guess they were sold for whatever reason. Only reason i give 1 star and not 0 is because its not possible and also the desks are quite spacious which is good. Alright place if u just want to chill. Awful place if you want to get any sort of meaningful work done. Staff are nice though but there is still a barrier from covid times which makes it hard to talk at the counter.

If I could rate this library 0 stars I would. I mean the delinquency in this abode is diabolical. You would think this place is a playground as it is riddled with noise. Children screaming. Books flying and peace is destroyed. I came to this so called library to revise for my final exams but I was forced out as I couldn’t deal with the sheer mayhem of this atmosphere. I would not recommend to a friend. Disgusting

I love this library. It's a vibrant community library. Great facilities and staff. It's busy. If you want to sit quietly and study, it is possible but if you're precious and going to whine about other people, probably best you choose your time or take your misery somewhere else.
