Coombes Croft Library

Poor library. Awfully slow computers. You only get 30 minutes on them. WiFi requires you to make an account rather than use a simple password. Staff seemed disinterested in helping too.

There is only one toilet and it is usually dirty or locked due to smell. There are loads of children making noise after 3pm during school term. People have no respect for the library and often leave food wrappings around.

We use this small community library frequently for our daughter who loves coming here. It’s well stocked with children’s books lesser so for adults. I’ve found the staff generally to be very helpful. A big let down is the toilet which can be out of order a lot of the time and when it’s not horribly unclean

Bad attitude
Never want to give anything to my children because we are white and not black-pure discrimination!!!
And I mean free things that are being given to all black kids-refused toine due to ridiculous reasons like "I am busy now"&actually she is not busy at all.
All 3must be sacked with immediate effect!!!

My experience at Coombes Croft Library has always been most favourable; the staff is friendly and helpful.

The librarian there acted like she didn't want to help me with printer had a bad attitude

Librarian bullied my 3 year old child for trying to read books (literally, that was it; she was getting books out to read; wasn't loud or messy or anything; we even always put them back where we find them), and then bullied me for trying to talk to her about it. And I mean, she was aggressive, and escalating. Horrible experience. Horrible person. She deserved to be fired.

Love this little, cosy library, spend many hours here reading and borrowing books. They sometimes have free classes in the library, a lot of good books and CDs sections to borrow. Helpful staff.
