Lovely library, friendly and helpful staff and a really nice selection of kids' books. Such a shame that the gorgeous brand new soft play area is closed to the public, clearly some really shoddy planning on the part of Bromley council and/or Better, who built it but forgot to staff it 🤦‍♀️ I particularly feel for the library staff who have to deal with the public's disappointment about it!

The staffs are friendly. There are lots of books, you can read it or borrow it. However most necessary facilities are out of order, including Wi-Fi and toilet. No air conditioner. Today is 31 degree Celsius. There is a child play area, but again it is closed.

Soooo Noisy !!!
I have never been to a library whose environment is not customer friendly. Aside from the childrens' specific play time which is understandable, it's just too much now, and getting worse every day.

Children brought in are just allowed to make noise and run around unchecked !!
Very bad.!!

Wonderful library with really helpful staff. Why is the beautiful play area always closed? It’s such a temptation for my toddler and he doesn’t understand that he isn’t allowed. Would happily pay an entrance fee if it meant we could use it. A real shame.

Great library with lovely window views and spacious reading areas. Can be a bit noisy due to children events (which is reasonable) and parents using the space as a playground for their kids (which is not).

It's a great place to visit. There is lifts and stairs to help reach the library on first floor. Two large separate rooms. One for non fiction and computer study's with tables and chairs. While the other side has an excellent selection of fiction. Children's area and a second level for further factual books. Open, spacious and plenty of quiet seating areas to relax in with a good book. Also has historical displays of local history. Great and helpful staff. Great displays for all genres and soft lighting to help find what I seek.well organised. Great place for lithely tastes. Definitely deserves a long visit. Won't be disappointed.

Pathetic kindergarten / playground singing loudly, clapping as if they were in the street market selling potatoes !
Very disrespectful to people that are doing serious work and students that need to focus!

That’s how you’re building great professionals!

Take this kids to all the empty churches ⛪️ and go sing there, and let the library for its purpose! 🧠🗣️
