Central Library

Don't go there that often but am very lucky to have a lending library so close by, covering three floors. Have been able to use the computers for free and to print off black/white & colour documents at a reasonable fee. You do need your library card, so will have to register if you do not have one.

The computers are located on all three floors, though the first floor one is for children. Unless you go quite early in the morning, there can be a wait to get on the computers as they are very popular. However at quieter times, you can extend the one hour time slot by making a request at the front desk. Have to say that the keyboards look like they are in desperate need of a good clean.

Free WiFi too but have not tried it.

There are some friendly and helpful members of staff.

Such a great library! Free to reserve books and the staff give you a call when they are available. Really handy opening hours as well.

I love this library! There is a good selection of books and you can also order items to be delivered from another branch. The staff are super-efficient and reliably non-judgmental, even when I am reserving the cheesiest of romance novels!

Stopped in while passing through the neighborhood to see if I could print a few pages urgently; staff were super helpful and friendly and I was in and out in 15 minutes for a fraction the cost I would have paid at a print shop. Also a nicely-kept, pleasant space.

Good place to study in a silent and relaxed atmosphere. Staff ready to help and to answer any questions.
