Mottingham Library

Endlessly helpful, friendly and jolly librarians who deserve better support from Library Services than they get. Granted the selection of books is relatively small but this is a small building serving a small local community and staff are always happy to order books in for you from other libraries in the borough which only take a couple of days to arrive. Unfortunately Bromley Libraries have left the Libraries Consortium via which you could order any item from 16 local authorities across London very cheaply.

A lovely, cosy library with a nice selection of books. Staff are always very helpful and friendly . They also hold a lovely after school craft/story session on a Monday, and when both of my children were little, we used to come to the stay and play on a Friday morning. Don't underestimate because it's small - it has a wonderful community feel to the place and Mottingham Village wouldn't be the same without it!

Always a lovely experience for me and my one year old. Lovely staff members and great singing and activities for little one.

A small branch library so not the widest selection of books but plenty of novels. Computers available. Very light and welcoming with friendly staff.

Attended another great talk on London from Chris. Library gradually getting back to normal after lockdowns etc.
