South Ruislip Library

I have never been to a library as noisy as this very disappointed. It seems like teachers have to failed to teach their students the first rule of library'Silence please.'

a lovely library with brilliant resources and mostly lovely staff - however - certain staff, in recent months, have taken a disliking to students as (in such close proximity to exam season) they tend to fill the library. It should be noted, the issue did lay in part with queensmead students who had been loud, violent and had even attempted to vandalise the toilets - nevertheless they have been banned for a bit and the library has a restored sense of peace and tranquility for other students and people of all ages.

Shame, was 22 miles away from home and needed an A4 piece of paper urgently. Go to the library 2 days a week while daughter at school...I offered to buy, declined. Had to book a computer, then had to print a piece of paper (and used the word “paper”) to buy it. Petty.

Beautifully refurbished this site. Layout has been improved & it is tidy. Kids love the kids area in library.

One of the best libraries i have ever been and staffs are friendly.

Recently done up library with a good selection of books ranging from fiction to non fiction for all age groups and in a few different languages. It also has a decent children's and adults sitting area, a cafe and toilets. You'll need a valid card to borrow books / magazines. The library is easily accessible by local buses or can be biked to, with bike parking stands available outside. Hours do tend to vary on weekdays, with specific timings found on Google or Hillingdon council website. It is closed between 1 and 2 for lunchtime.

This is a superb library! The staff are very friendly and it’s always quiet.

A little small but I manage to get my work done. The staff are helpful and friendly and the teas & snacks are a great help.
