I Only went there last week to join the library. I was made to feel so small by the person on the desk
as all I did was to ask if he worked there. He was rude in my opinion and did not like me to ask any questions etc.
I felt he would do the talking and for me to just listen no questions to be asked.
Although I got registered I will try and use other libraries in Barnet.

I wouldn't even give this review half a star if that choice was available. Who is that miserable receptionist/ customer service advisor at the oval desk?? She hasn't a clue in how to deal with the public. She really is not fit for purpose. Absolutely contemptuous, resentful and sneering to every poor soul that came in to use the services. Her simple task is to scan and pass on important documents to Barnet Council so that people like me can get some small financial aid in paying for their council tax. She was rude, uncommunicative extremely unhelpful and it turns out completely INCOMPETENT. 4 weeks now and after speaking to the benefits department at Barnet, they have not received my documents. She no doubt threw my documents in the bin or lost them. Either way she's failed to protect my personal data. I will get her name and put in a formal complaint of which I'm sure numerous have already been made about her. Disgusting.

I haven't even been there but it's clearly full of horrible people working there like all libraries in Barnet. Or anything ran by the council. I've saved myself the time and energy by leaving a review now, rather than going there to realise it's a wretched and rudimentary excuse for a library and leaving one after.

Great library with friendly staff and good customer service. It is relatively quite on Mondays in which I am able to get work done in peace plus being able to use the computers for 1.5 hours free of charge.

Right at the corner of watling Avenue, Near the Tube Station. I will suggest it needs some updating but still serves the community. Parking available at the rear of the building especially for those with the Blue Badge. Disability accessibility as well.

I turned up attempting use the normal system to informed that there is a self service, this means cuts will made for the jobs of the librarians which is completely wrong, I urge that there is stop put to this, I don't have certain resources which is why i attend the local libraries and other in the barrow please keep the librarian, with the costs of the national government having librarians will not take up the budget, they serve the public and they do a great job doing

I love the location and the books that I am able to borrow, so far I have not needed any other assistance so I do not have any idea about the other customer services but we should be grateful that we have it in our local area..

small, noisy, bad opening hours. A student gets free from school at 4 and library closes at 5, making it useless to me. Closed weekends, when i need to get away from my family to study. The hag at ground floor reception is a contemptible wench.
Its cold. and never open when i need it. I make a 2 hour round trip to a beautiful Harrow library instead.
