I haven't been to Eltham Library before so I was pleasantly surprised to see how neat and tidy the place was, it had a fresh vibe with lots of areas to read, sit, work and chill.
I also didn't know that the library was connected to the leisure complex too, so you can have a full day out with the kids, swimming and then some quality time to find a good book - win win for everyone!
I look forward to future visits. Thank you Eltham Library for a free day out... Happy Kids in half term!
My children had a great time.
They love art and it was such a lovely class for them to join in. Free too. It also meant I had 2 hours free time to go and do some shopping.
Thank you Eltham library. I would definitely recommend to a friend!
Today my grand daughter participated in an art workshop for 8 to 14 year olds that was both educational and enjoyable . As I walked through the Library there were folk studying , reading , working on the computers and so much more .
It was so good to see all ages and interests being catered for !
Well done!
"Library" but looks like a day care, what was supposed to be for reading, studying and having a quiet space, poor students and all that need a quiet place, maybe Mac Donald's can be quieter.
Singing and clapping loudly? Really?!
Thanks for all the dedicated library team for a great event.
Mainly why I give 3 stars is staff members, constantly laughing or shouting at the glass room on the left once you enter the building. I have been to the library for the last 2 weeks almost every day and every time it's the same, they are so loud and unconciderable, which is very disappointing, as people that come to use library are always so quiet and respectful to others.
I'm all for happiness and giggles, but library has its own purpose, where people come to concentrate and get job done.
