Osidge Library

I've loved this library for 15 years now. Very comfortable and so much nostalgia for me. I hope it never dies <3

Was a great little library now reduced by spending cuts. Note all your opening times for this library are out of date and most of the time only self service (you need to have a door code to get in).

Really nice library and I like the automated checkout system. Unfortunately it has been affected by spending cuts.

The upstairs study section has been closed so there's limited space there.it's also self service and open so register bring your card.

The Osidge Library used to be great!

It used to welcome everyone(old and young) without need of card membership. It was a laidback place where people come to borrow books, DVD, read books, or computers at peace. It used to open 9 to 5pm , 5 or 6 days a week. The staffs were helpful and friendly.

They renovated the library to make it look more "modern", but turn it backward: there are less space, open-hours shortened, no staffs so it's self-service, you need a membership card to get in. The upstairs study section has been closed so there's limited space.

I am saddened to think about it. :-(

Never been, passed the place on a Sunday at 22:15 on a Sunday. All lights on glaring. For your own bills and reducing community carbon footprint might be worth turning them off as you leave.

When staffed, people are very friendly and helpful, live in this area for 30 years and are a member for at least 25

Nice place especially for kids!
