Allington Library

A lovely handy little library with all the facilities that you would expect from a library. Also has a small on site car park in addition to the large free Waitrose one across the road.

This should not be relevant however it is; the service & experience you receive depends on which staff happen be working that day. One long-standing staff member (Anne) is known to be rude and abusive to customers. Well known for the issues she causes yet sadly is still allowed to work there and disrupt customer service especially given the large of number of local elderly residents who frequent the library and who should be receiving a better class of service.

Always find assistance when I need it.

Took an autistic child to this library and he felt comfortable in the surroundings. The special mat to lie on made it easy for him to relax and the touch and feel books were captivating. We stayed almost half an hour. Thank you so so much. Your service means a.lot especially on a cold day.

Very good, doing story time and crafts. Such lovely staff and very friendly people
