Oakmere Library

I enjoy being in this library. Hiding behind Highview Medical Centre, it offers a mostly quiet space to read or do work. I say mostly quiet because it can be very busy at times, I'd use the 'popular times' section on your search results because it's pretty accurate. Saturdays in particular are very busy and often the rule of no loud talking is ignored.

Other than that small detail, a great library.

Good town library. Comprehensive collection of books. Good computers and printers. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!
The only inconvenience is the local surgery taking up the library parking spaces.!!

Librarians are very nice and help you out loads. Very nice book choices and cheap printing prices. 10/10 from me!!

Lovely staff. Good selection of books.

Refurbished a few years ago, Oakmere Library now boasts more computers and it would seem, more books. Though the manager disagrees.
The staff are really nice and. extremely helpful. Though not large, very pleasant and Hertfordshire has a rather impressive catalogue. So you only need to reserve, either in person or via the website if 0akmere hasn't got your choice in stock.
Also, a selection of magazines for weekly loans. 2 automated kiosks but always staffed. Least ways at the moment. Efficient and a rewarding experience. As libraries go, my favourite.
Virtually all libraries in Hertfordshire are named after where there situated. So why is Potters Bar's library so called?

Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Very nice and tidy Libray and the staff's are very helpful I do sometimes visit the Libray to print something 😀

Great library with a good selection of books. Unfortunately our village one is closed for the foreseeable future so thus is a good alternative.
