Although I'm looking forward to returning to Wales after many years, the one place I shall miss above all is the Ipswich Institute, where I have done a wonderful art course with the incredibly talented Robert Coppillie each year since 2009. This lovely haven in the centre of Ipswich is a delight; warm, welcoming and tranquil in a noisy world. Thank you, Ipswich Institute, for hours of pleasure.

Excellent Library and Educational Charity in the centre of Ipswich. A best kept secret in the town. Around 2500 members enjoy a wide range of educational and cultural activities.

Pleasant place to read all the daily and weekly papers and magazines of interest in a quiet warm space with another area to share conversation and have light lunches and snacks

Lovely library in a period building and period internal features. Libraries are actually more important than ever as it's a place where you not only can search for books but sit and read without any distractions. Only issue is that there should be a lovely library sign over the external entrance that will complement the building and provide it will the prominence it deserves to help the library become more inviting.

Nice place, good books. You can also order from the Amazon the novel The Agency or the very important tale The Savage.
