Plumstead Road Library

Very helpful staff and a wonderful butterfly garden to take young children. A good selection of books, more fiction than information / reference in my opinion. Reasonably priced photocopying facilities too. Seems to attract strange men using the Internet facilities but then I'd guess that's not something unique to this library. Also, it always smells a bit odd in there, buy you soon get used to it.

Great library. I use it mostly for my son and when choosing books we also stay and play one of the games they have on offer or colour in some pictures they have printed off.

Staff are helpful, place is clean and tidy, good variety of books and nice to visit in the summer in the butterfly garden

I barely use the place as it doesn't stock enough dvds to have a good choice. I just use it every now and again to drop dvds off.

I went there using the open library scheme (unstaffed time). It was peaceful, warm, light and full of interesting books that were in good condition and included lots of new releases. I previously though that all the 'good stuff' was at the Millennium Library but it just proved how if the satellite libraries have amazing options. Thanks again wonderful library service. We are so lucky here!

Beautiful local library. Knowledgeable & helpful staff. Pre Covid the library was full of all types of activities, run for every age group. My sanctuary.
