There's loads to do down in the library, and it's nice to go down there to read in the peace and quiet

Great library. I always go here for printing and the staff are always helpful.
Lots of computers available, obviously a great selection of books, and also a lot of clubs you can join.
The museum is a great friendly little place to look around and have a taste of local history. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Also now the added bonus of the council hub which is very convenient and local. A great asset to Tredegar town.

Just through the entrance of the library, to the left, there’s a museum which is a treasure trove of local history. There’s a printing press, war memorabilia, old photographs, sections on mining, the medical aid society (pre NHS) and local pubs. The volunteers are incredibly knowledgeable, kind and generous with their time. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
