What a great shop and wonderful young boy managing the shop and post office. Danny has great customer service skills and a friendly face at all times.

Young employed staff are wonderful and helpful whilst older staff/ bosses treat you with distain and contempt .
You sense they are doing you a favour when serving you at year 2045 prices whilst taking your hard earned money.
Rule one in retail is always make your customers feel wanted and appreciated so they come back.

Absolutely amazing staff, frontline and offering delivery service for the vulnerable and elderly, helping ease their minds and not taking advantage by charging for this. Staff prepared to go the extra mile, we really do appreciate what you do for the local community. Thank you 💖

Small shop with generally friendly reception staff on most days.

Update: Taking one star off because we have met with a reception staff who was recently unfriendly, infact quite obviously hostile towards us. Initially we put it to her having a bad day maybe but this has recurred.

Overall other staff are nice and helpful so 4 star still.

I was very surprised at the various item that could be bought here. Post office and shop well maintained and very pleasant staff. Great for the older community. The only downfall was the entrance door is hard to open which makes it difficult for disabled and the older community 😕

A general store with post office. Sells a range of goods including stationary, snacks, tinned food, fruit and veg, frozen food etc. Very handy for Furness General Hospital for visitors and patients waiting in A and E.

Completely agree with Robert Scott's review. The younger staff are so happy and helpful yet the older woman in particular (moody looking, grey hair with glasses) clearly doesn't like their job and makes you feel an inconvenience for paying their wages. Know when to retire and make way for the young ones !

Staff go above & beyond to help you in this shop, prices are slightly high but please remember it's a corner shop not Tesco, without exemption all the staff are approachable, friendly, helpful & always happy to help, great shop should be 6 out of 5 stars.
