I've been going here for over eight years since moving to Sandiacre. Lovely family run shop, friendly service, and a great selection of decent bottled ales.

On a few separate occasions, my credit card (Halifax Bank) has not worked with their card machine. Ultimately, after I asked why the card reader wasn't working, the woman at the till said that either I had no money on my account, or that I was "brainwashed". I found this very rude and left the shop immediately. I will not be shopping here again. Poor customer service and poor payment options.
