Complete bunch of useless idiots.
Funding for elderly care is non existent, Devon county council are heartless and cruel when it comes to the elderly.
They have kicked a man of 80 with zero mobility out of a care home to his former housing association home. He will have hardly any help (basic care package ) I guess money is more important than people's lives when it comes to DCC.

Potholes. So bad I nearly flew off the road. £600 worth of damage to my car (tyre, wheel, steering components), claims procedure requires allsorts of pointless documents. Purposefully obfuscatory. Too busy trying to pay taxes, to mess about with form filling.

Diversions. Diverting "A" Roads and "B" Roads on to narrow single lane country roads. Absolute chaos, must cuase £100,000s worth of damage to people's cars. . . for what exactly. Don't say safety, unless you can prove it is safe for everybody, including those who are diverted.

Devon Council , you give them big council tax and they have bigger wages than you , if its services you want do it yourself as they are not interested...
The five stars are for the way they scam ordinary people , if everyone in uk stopped paying coucil tax what could they do about it , we stopped poll tax so why do we accept council tax ?

Very bad customer service. Long queue and then cheeky and extremely unhelpful. - Whoever is working in HR for Devon County Council should have a good look into their customer service, especially one of the women working in the residency permit sector.

Falsified evidence, no support, tried to get my children adopted before even meeting me! No customer service and seem to think they are above the law. Compulsive liars out to seperate families and only care about funding and are willing to destroy families just to get it! Despicable and disgusting behaviour.

Work here a couple of times a week. Offices aren't busy so it gives me time to focus

Very poor service and overall experience. Trying to get a lane resurfaced that is in dreadful condition and dangerous to pedestrians and vehicles. Nothing gets done and potholes are being reported constantly. They are ignoring the emails and not doing anything about it.
The council have a statutory duty to repair roads and it seems they have ignored this. Very poor service.
