Lunatics working in council tax team, Call was cut of by them, second time when i called operator was rude, workers should learn some manners.

Try phoning! Nobody answers!!
Even at 09.10 on a Friday, the automated voice says they are closed.

But when the council wants a payment from you, they have no problem getting in touch

I have taken multiple attempts to make contact the council. Your opening hours are shorter than any business in town! Twice my emails have been completely ignored for months and you just responded to one that was sent over 40 days ago. This is simply an unacceptable time frame in which to deal with complaints. Yes, you can contact me in regards to this review and you will have the appropriate contact details to do so on your system. I await your response to see how well connected your systems are!

Thankyou to the refuse collectors who did our bins on Boxing Day, and every other bank holiday throughout the year. In this time of strikes and shortages it is refreshing to have one service that just keeps going. I'm guessing that they are not highly paid. Please pass on my thanks.

My bin man Matt is a hero in the shelvers hill area. He made extra effort to get my bin round a moped this morning as I couldn't manage it . He went above and beyond duty I hope he gets recognition from his employers for his attentiveness for people in the Borough. Well done

Scumbag that what they all are money grabbing scumbags!!! I've had problems with R&R council for years I've recently lost my job and slightly behind on my council tax and I've emailed them but not received one reply from them..I also recently got a parking ticket as I parked I had to park else where where my permit didn't cover as the car park I use was full of non resident cars..I've decided to take this matter further POPLA hopefully I get a better outcome..
There is no give with R&R to much power and they abuse it knowing they are backed by corrupt government and politicians

Four stars given as the staff member was polite and knowledgeable regarding council tax policy. However appalled to learn that if you have a single discount for living alone in your property you lose it if you go into hospital for a prolonged period , 8 months !. Strange policy.

Unable to contact most departments as they have all disconnected their office phone contact numbers. Clearly their lazy and incompetent staff are all working from home pretending they are frightened of Covid. made an enquiry re my Council Tax on 8th June and they still have not replied, either by phone or e-mail. Have tried numerous times to phone them but the direct number for the Council Tax department has been disconnected.
