Stafford Borough Council

Recently visited Stafford for the first time end of April. The towns road layout was not user friendly. One way systems,no entries& loads of speed bumps made navigation a nightmare. We could see our hotel but couldn't get to it. We drove through a bus gate not realising what one is within 15 mins of arrival. I always avoid bus lanes,but thought ,what is a bus gate!?. Tried to concentrated on not running anyone over & avoid going wrong way. Now photoed by camera & £30 fine for bus lane. Never had this before having driven in UK since 1970. We will not be visiting again as too risky. Feel sorry for Stafford people as they were all so friendly. We will stimulate another towns economy in future.

Stafford council recently "upgraded" their car parks so you are forced to pay via an app. I got a parking ticket because I paid incorrectly and had to pay their fine event though I could prove I had paid my parking fee. Good luck getting any sense out of the clowns running stafford council

Does any work here, go all through pressing for the different departments then just cuts me off the call, so annoying. Happy to take payments from you though

Shocking service the paths & roads in Salter st & Market st haven't been swept in over 8months bins over flowing.

I called SBC today and, although the wait was a bit long, I connected with a lady called Louise. I'd got stuck with an online form and she couldn't have been more helpful; she made everything so much easier than I had believed.

How in this day and age can a council NOT recycle wrapping paper and charge you to take away garden waste

I have been trying to reach some one at stafford b c in order to pay for my garden wast colection for 2022 but have not yet been able to in a reasonable time ,that is for me being less than 18th in the waiting on the queu .I also wanted to inform them that their web site would not allow me
to pay on line. I am to say the least fed upwith their service .
