Somerset County Council

Absolutely a none caring council .for the council tax we pay they are extremely unhelpful when it comes to complaints. No one wants to do anything. I don't know why we have people in power when they don't do anything for the people they are supposed to represent.

Generally useless at doing what is needed.

Called these guys loads of times to ask for help and ask for them to fix things. Usual answer is “not our problem”

Took them a week and 90 mins of calls to tell me that they are not responsible for diversions and signage of road closures when roads are closed for emergencies. Completely atrocious "service"and waste of time - but they don't have any problems taking their share of my council tax - that's the one thing they always make sure they do correctly!

Rang them about a pot hole that had formed at the top of my driveway/road last week. Today the pothole was repaired! I can't believe how quickly this was done and i cant thank them enough!

Useless is a understatement phoned to report a pothole twice that has been getting worse in the fourt of my house that is on the pathment and they have no interest or no intention of repairing it people have injured themselves and kids have fell off their bikes and onto the road if it was the posh end of the town they would sort it within a few days but there excess is its fine and they will keep a eye on it I believe they just can't be bothered.

Takes 14min to get through on the phone. When I get through I'm told they will have to email transport to get someone to talk to me. When I finally get to to talk to someone I'm given conflicting information. Shambles of an outfit, left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing.
