Wellingborough Registration Office - North Northamptonshire Council

was one of the bridesmaids to my friend's wedding ceremony a few weeks ago. Staff were kind & place tidy. Smelled a bit like a grandma's house😅

Absolutely dire if you're disabled. Toilets are upstairs. I had to use the mens.

£11 for a copy of my own birth certificate which is standard. However because I needed it ASAP to prove nationality it has cost an extra £24!! I live 5 mins from the registry office yet I can't arrange to go there and collect it. Absolutely disgusting!! I pay enough in council tax and all they have to do is look it up & copy it. It only cost me £11 to get a copy of a death certificate from Greenwich Council in September and I received that within a couple of days. Another money maker for Northamptonshire Council in my eyes!!
