Local gem, friendly and knowledgeable folk. a history lesson with smiling faces, you'll leave knowing a bit more about the world that was. The canteen is also decent with the staff doubling up. On a good day the lodge pond outside is beautiful so take your sandwiches outside!

Had a lovely afternoon here, friendly welcoming staff, they provide two interesting and informative tours, highly recommend. Great cafe as well.

We had a lovely afternoon here with an interactive exhibition on both cotton and wool. There is a rich and deep history recorded here and it is fascinating for locals as well as textile enthusiasts.

The tour is fab, the machines still work and the staff as super knowledgable and friendly. I'll definitely recommend it to everyone!

Been coming here over 20 years. Lovely little place. Cafe inside is great and child friendly. Opening times are seasonal so make sure you check first. Taking the kids is eye opening for them to experience what life was like. A must visit if your in the area!

Absolutely wonderful! The Biennial exhibition was great and the tour as ever was excellent. Great staff too!
