Daniel of JC Locks replaced a worn-out lock on my conservatory in February this year (2009), doing an excellent job for a good price.

Last Saturday evening, on forgetting to take my front door key with me on leaving my home, I managed to lock myself out. Fortunately, Daniel was able to come to the rescue, arrived promptly, and got the door open quickly . Having had visions of the lock needing to be changed (which wasn't the case) and expecting a big bill, I was gratified that the charge was very reasonable, especially as it was around 7.15pm.

I'm very happy to recommend JC Lock's services and will certainly use them again if I need to.

Update August 2012: Managed to lock myself out for a second time the other evening, and luckily Daniel was available to help quickly again. Managed to gain access without damage to doors or locks. Great service.

Daniel is a first rate locksmith and I can't recommend him highly enough. He fitted a new front door and locks for us and the quality of the fit is exemplary. From quote to installation he has always turned up on time and quickly got back to us to answer any questions we had - excellent service.

Daniel was courteous and friendly and attended to my needs promptly. He replaced out front door lock mechanism and cylinder to ensure it couldn't be opened from outside (as my teenage children were leaving it unlocked). He also fitted a new security lock cylinder. Costs were very reasonable and I feel much safer now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for any lock work.
