Just refreshed the locks on our front door.

Have to say that the service was excellent, both in the sales process and post sales.

Work was done when we asked it to be and it was done professionally and in a very friendly manner.

We then had a problem, with the locks being stiff. Within hours of contacting them by email, I was called and minutes later they turned up to resolve the issue. Excellent service in my opinion.

Needed some keys cut for my flat, I went to 5 different places trying to get one of the keys cut as it was an obscure type cylinder key. The assistant was very helpful and used his pink box to manufacture the key blank and cut it there and then. Very happy with the service and price.

We were having an issue with our door jamming and called Barrs to help. They were able to come out same day, and quickly identified the issue. We needed new hinges and the door to be re-hung... This was all done efficiently, with minimal fuss. The cost for the call out was extremely reasonable and the company was friendly, communicated clearly and were extremely professional. I have always found Barrs technically excellent, and good value. A few people have said they are expensive, but I think people are these days expecting bargain basement reduced prices etc as if it were a race to the bottom. Barrs is a proper professional company and will not let you down. Locks and security are a serious business and you will get a serious, professional service.

I telephoned for advice, sent lots of photographs and was told that I did not need to change my locks at the moment to comply with my insurance conditions. It is so refreshing to have someone give an honest opinion and save me money. I would not hesitate to recommend.
