At first I thought I got a good service but felt overcharged. Since it was done I found out the secure lock they charged me £59.99 + £107 call-out + vat for, could be bought on Amazon for £7.99. Not happy!

I urgently needed additional security keys for my front door. Having found the paperwork from 10 years previously (a small miracle) I phoned the head office to order the keys . It trpanspired that the cylinder was no longer in production so no more keys could be cut. I agreed to a new lock being fitted plus six keys. They called back a few minutes later to say they'd done a final check and there were no equivalent cylinders in stock. They would waive the callout charge and that an engineer was on his way to install the replacement. Five minutes on "He's approaching your front door". Gloves and mask on, 20 minutes later the lock was in place. 3 keys in my hand and advice to contact KeyTech if the duplicate keys, that can be cut by any locksmith, jammed in the lock at any time. The cost? Virtually the same as we'd paid 10 years ago. Stellar service and brilliant problem solving by the head office team backed up with practical advice from the engineer. So would I recommend KeyTech? You bet I would 😊
