Alan was really nice and prompt in getting here. We had a bit of banter about me trying to drill the lock out.. lol he’s got a good dry sense of humour. Reasonable charge to come out compared to others but they are never cheap. £80 call out and for the first hour of labour. I’ve looked it up and really they should charge just £65 for the first hour. Some charge over £100. It pot luck if you find a good one at a good price. Bit cheeky of the locksmiths really. It would have been 5* but I think the cost of the new lock at £16 is expensive when you can buy them at half that in a shop. Plus he must get them even cheaper at a Bulk trade price I’d have thought. Never mind. Good work and I’d say yes to using him. Nice guy..

Called mid-morning as I had an issue with the handles on my front door. 1st Express Locksmiths were with me by lunchtime. Door fixed in no time, no mess or fuss and very pleasant. Reasonable rates for a very good job. Would definitely recommend 👌

Alan was brilliant - he arrived within 20 minutes of our initial phone call and had changed our locks in 5 minutes flat. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous in our home. We rang Alan to come change the lock on our back door he was with us within half hour, very professional and reasonable price. He even bought my blue bin off the front garden to the back for me, would definitely recommend. Thankyou Alan.

Alan was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Bought my first house and contacted Alan to change 3 locks on my doors for me. Extremely fast response and Alan came out so quickly to change these for me. Was extremely courteous and even wiped his feet which was lovely! Fast and brilliant service.
