Chambers Lockwork, Mobile Locksmith

I thoroughly recommend George of Chambers Lockwork for his excellent work fitting a deadlock in my door (and also fixing a problem with my Yale lock for no extra charge.)

From my initial enquiry to finishing the job and tidying up after cutting into the door, supplying and fitting a lock took just two and a bit hours.

Great job, prompt service, honest prices and a lovely bloke to boot!

George was incredibly responsive when I phoned in the hope to arrange for an extra lock to be fitted after experiencing intruders at our home. He even offered an appointment on the same day.

My wooden French doors wouldn't lock as the wood had warped, stopping the locking mechanism from lining up and I couldn't turn the key. George spent some time adjusting the doors and the mechanism and giving them a bit of TLC. Not sure exactly what he did but now the locking mechanism works perfectly with no effort required. Very happy, he was available at short notice, was very pleasant, arrived exactly on time and the price was very fair. Would recommend to anyone.

This man is a consummate professional! Our patio doors were badly out of alignment, such that you could hardly close them. George came, George thought, George undertook the task of rectifying the problem. It wasn't straightforward, but he persisted with infinite patience, and remarkable expertise, until he had solved the problem. Beyond that, he is simply a lovely man, modest, personable and extremely honest. I would NOT HESITATE to recommend George if you have a problem with locks, doors or related matters. As for price, more than reasonable.

I 100% recommend Chambers Lockwork, they were fantastic. I locked myself out of the house and was worried that I would need a new lock/keys and it would cost the earth. George was round within 10 minutes and I was back in the house in 15 mins or less. I wasn’t feeling very well so he also let me sit in his van while I waited! He was lovely, very polite and professional. The price was very reasonable and there was no need for new lock or keys, fabulous.
