Liked: Lovely plot of land within some trees. Electric hookup and great price. Lovely dogs and a few farm animals. Kevin is a really nice and friendly guy.
Disliked: May benefit from an area to wash up and MAYBE a shower area. WiFi would be a nice little exra

Liked: Very quiet; in fact the second night I was the only one there. Option of pitching in field or orchard. I chose the orchard. It is the "rural simplicity", including visits from hens and ducks while eating breakfast, that makes me give four stars rather than three.
Disliked: Difficult to find, then apart from a brief phone call there was no-one to explain the arrangements such as electrical connection points {which turned out to be fixed on apple tree trunks) and toilet facilities.
It was made clear in the prospectus that there would be no showers so that was no surprise. However the toilet facilities appear to have once been the outside loo of the farmhouse, with no lighting that I could find. A direction sign to it was to "The Workshop", which needed to be interpreted.
Whilst they didn't worry me the two very large dogs, even though fenced off, would certainly have troubled my late wife.

Liked: The walnut orchard offered shelter from heat (+28°C) so the tent was lovely and cool. Good breeze as well. Ground was flat. Watch out for the occasional walnut dropping. Set-up was spacious for tents. Electric worked well. Fresh running water was close to hand. Out-house toilet was always clean and well stocked. A short walk from the tents. It was close to the house so felt like we were walking through Kevin's garden but it was fine and gave you a chance to fuss the animals on the way. Only one toilet but we never had to wait. Two big dogs, pigs, ducks and chickens. All friendly. Dogs barked when you walked past but were quiet the rest of the time. Gardens and fruit trees were glorious and added to experience. Had a fabulous weekend camping at Home Farm.

Liked: Very relaxed little campsite, being among the trees with the pigs/dogs/ducks/horses around etc was really lovely.
Disliked: The exit onto the main road was risky, poor visibility. And could do with an extra toilet and possibly some showers. But for the price it was brilliant value for money and we would go again.

Liked: Rural setting, choosing own pitch, space for children to run and climb trees, nice views out over the fields, pigs, dogs and ducks!
Disliked: Noisy neighbours, only one toilet and it was not restocked/cleaned, not well signposted from the road.
The one toilet wasn’t such an issue when it was just us camping but when others arrived it became a big problem

Disliked: Rather unfriendly owner. I felt like I was imposing when I called and arrived. If there was a 'refund' option Id have simply left and gone elsewhere. Theres a fine line between 'popup' sites and 'just take your money' sites. It literally is in their backyard too, with a toilet outside their backdoor, right next to 2 large tethered barking dogs. I solo-camp often, all over the UK and Europe, and this is the 1st time I've ever felt the need to leave a negative review. Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Liked: Lovely location, quite peaceful , host was friendly , allowed camp fires . We enjoyed our two nights stay . Only one toilet which we knew when booked but it was clean and had no problem with it what so ever . Enjoyed the pigs , ducks , chicken and dogs . Loved our stay and would come again .
