Comfortable lodge with decking on farm in beautiful Peak District. Cromford/Matlock/Dove Dale and others not far. High Peak Trail with great views and miles of walking and cycling at top of fields. Rented all-terrain wheelchair to get me up and along the trail.
Lodge was great with wheel-in wet room. Can buy food for breakfast from farm. Also had excellent meal delivered from Miners Arms in Brassington.

Just had a weeks break in the Pinder Cabin. Firstly we had lovely hosts. Really welcoming and explained how things worked. Secondly, (I didn’t book the place) I was pleasantly surprised by the ecological credentials of the place. Lovely green footprint.
The cabin is really very well equipped and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.
There was plenty of space for us and the dogs. We were not sure if the Pinder was fenced in at first so we bought the crate extenders but there were not needed. It is safe for dogs to roam which was great.
Top of the farm you get access to high peak and Tissington trial. We managed to get tot Middleton Top and back. Great for the dogs and lovely views o m. The way.
Horse was very friendly as well and clearly used to people.
It’s a great base for some lovely country pubs as well.
All in all we had a great time and will certainly come back here.

An immaculate holiday cottage in an idyllic setting.
The location is In the middle of the countryside, but everything you want to see in the Peaks is easily accessible by car (or bike, thanks to it being right on the High Peak Trail)
The accommodation is beautifully presented and everything is of a high quality (linens, sofas, cookware etc) which really is a nice touch.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Second stay in this idyllic location, and Spring time is a whole different feel with baby animals stealing the show and the hot tub even more popular - early morning reading in complete peace outdoors while snuggly warm with a beautiful view! Once again the friendly welcome and attention to detail in this self catering farm stay impressed from start to finish

Fabulous log cabin with break taking views. Felicity and David were very welcoming and obliging. Everything was provided and more .... home made bread (very yummy), home made cookies (which my son scoffed), fresh eggs and milk was a lovely touch. Live stock all around, loved the goats such characters.

We hired the pizza oven which was great fun to do and probably the best tasting pizza's we've had. Another night we hire the sauna, very relaxing and felt fab after.

Would highly recommend Indian delivery .... easy website to follow, quick delivery and the food was sensational.

Would recommend visiting Bakewell and Miners Arms at Carsington.

Excellent fews days, we've been back two weeks and still talking about.

What a wonderful place so quiet and peaceful Just what we wanted after a hectic few months. The owners are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our chalet was so clean and comfortable. Felicity's granary bread is to die for. Loved it and can't wait to return

Thank you David and Felicity for a great stay. We stayed in Skylark one of the lovely 2 person pods for 2 nights.
We were warmly greeted on arrival and our hosts were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay as needed (but also skilled at being discrete giving us privacy).
I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the pod was and it looks bigger than the photos suggest.
Everything was so well appointed and we had everything we needed. We loved the ‘supplies’ that were left for us on arrival; delicious bread, eggs, milk, butter, biscuits, coffee and tea!
The location is perfect - charming countryside but not far from all amenities and attractions.
We chose to add on the pizza night option and paid for fire pit wood and we’re so glad we did as we had a great evening with all the pizza kit and sitting with a glass of wine around the fire.
A lovely touch that the owners brought us a pumpkin to light up too for Halloween!
Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Felicity and David are very good. We hired electric bikes and went for a nice ride on high peak trail. David explained about bikes. After our ride David and Felicity showed the accommodation and explained the details. Ice cream was great. My kids loved every bit of the farm.
