Tonight I was physically attacked whilst delivering Amazon parcels as a freelance courier (Amazon Flex). Glass bottles were thrown at me from overlooking apartments whilst I contacted the customer on the intercom. It was pitch black. I could not see who was doing it. I was terrified. I will NEVER again deliver for Amazon. I am not paid to have my life put in harms way and be at risk like I was this evening. It simply isn’t worth it. I’ve come home and I am physically shaking and emotional. Stay safe.

DHA1 wembley is a lovely place, easy to locate

excellent place for flexible work. easy to find. excellent organization in the station. the price per hour is unpleasant/ the delivery areas are sometimes very far and in bad places/

It's Amazon depot based in Wembley. It's used to sort at the parcels in the night and keep ready in the morning for delivery. In the site security does a great job in following all the protocol for safety. Mask is must in the premises and two meter distance. There is no canteen or food in the premises. The new drivers training and drug/ Alcohol test done here.

Want to become Amazon driver :

You can Amazon as night staff to sort parcels in the depot or you can become Amazon driver. Amazon doesn't recruit any direct drivers. It's done by various agencies. You can become Prime delivery driver and driver Amazon prime trucks delivering 150 to 200 parcels a day for £90 , it's starts from 10.30 to 11.00 depending on start time finish around and then return your vehicle.
Amazon will charge you for any damage to van and your responsible for parking tickets. It's only big vans.

Working with agency as driver you can choose you want to drive big van or small one.
For small one you will be paid £145.00 plus £15.00 congestion charge and £0.18p for fuel. You will be delivered 180 to 200 parcels. For big van it's £160 plus congestion/ Fuel.

Cons :

Though it sounds attractive biggest problem is quality of van you get it's basically rubbish. The Agencies don't care for you. Most of the money you receive will go in parking tickets since Ur van is not branded.

You have to be physically fit otherwise you can't manage the pressure.

I had my comfort dog in the car the first time I visited. When I went back for the 2nd time. They recognised me from the day before and refused me entry cause my comfort dog was In the car. Leaving me at a lose end after 45 mins drive getting there, and not being able to go ahead with my 31/2 hour block. I wish I was told on the first day or at least let me in the 2nd time after being told. I lost time, money and petrol that I waiting in line for 2 hours to get. I literally started to cry in the car when I drove off.

Delivered from many stations and Wembley by far are the most organised. A little jealous that everything is covered so if it's chucking it down there's no worry about getting wet during loading!

Horrify experience, they do not allow 3 doors cars on their premises, which in others amazon logistic they do not really mind what you driving and also there's absolutely no point of that as most of 3 doors coupe are bigger than ordinary 4 doors hatchback.
