Was told that they don't give out proof of postage receipts even though your website states otherwise. The gentleman was adamant and clearly didn't like hearing that I needed a receipt. Anyway, I had to ring the company I was sending a package to, to tell them Royal Mail don't issue receipts and even they were confused as to the "we don't issue proof of postage receipt". So I then had to take a photo of my package with the postage label on and email that to the company as proof of postage. It was such a bizarre and confusing 5 minutes, not to mention, I'm now extremely suspicious of the gentleman who works there.

I was informed by the Post Office to pick up a package that was not there I have now wasted two days.,,, first day waiting whole day informed Saturday delivery between 10:30 and 1:30 did not show up contacted their helpline. Informed me they have no way of tracking a parcel and I should wait till 6 p.m. If you've got this far you may wonder why I'm so angry with the post office in the package that I was expecting are clothes for a funeral on Monday. I informed the helpline that the post office has been going 4 over 400 years started under Charles the second. Amazon have been going couple of decades and they can tell me exactly where my parcel is at any time of the day or night by the way the post office app is as useful as a chocolate teapot. Under the present senior management I do not see that the post office will be around in 5 years time so if you purchase anything online enquire what parcel service is delivering before you purchase. Postscript my package was 48hrs tracked in the case of the Post Office not. 😡

Once it was scanned as delivered, they no longer cared. Please do not trust them to deliver anything of value. Lying, thieving, crooks. The lot of them! 0/5.
