InSinkErator

We have had the InsinkErator hot tap now for about a month and have had no reason to use a kettle and there is no water wasted waiting for the hot water to come through. Yes there is a slightly more use of electric but not a noticeable amount. The safety tap restrictions are good and avoid the use incorrectly. Very pleased.

We bought one of these about 3 years ago and loved it, perfect. We then moved house and bought a new one exactly the same. Unfortunately after a year it started dripping constantly. Insinkerator reacted brilliantly, sent an engineer out, couldnt fix it so replaced it under warranty. Great product and great customer service.

The 4N1 tap does not deliver steaming hot water as claimed. I have had 3 different tanks fitted and the best I could get was 84 degrees centigrade which is not hot enough to brew tea. It might be OK for instant coffee but no good for brewing tea!

Sadly not the product we hoped for, bought this at the Ideal Home Exhibition, over £500 so not cheap and had it fitted, at first it was brilliant, no kettle and instant hot water was such a luxury, but a year later it leaked and we had to have it replaced which was under warranty, this new tank lasted 18 months and now leaking again, but unfortunately no longer under warranty as the tank only has 2 years. Now I can understand sometimes things break, one is unfortunate but to have 2 tanks go wrong in only 2.5 years is beyond frustrating, they are not cheap but sadly not a quality product, we were offered a 20% goodwill discount off a new tank, which as just shy of £200 not cheap and dubious that that will only last 12-18 months!! I am not made of money,!! We took the tank apart and its a small reservoir that has split, if only they could supply this small plastic part, but no they want to charge £200 for a whole new tank, buyer beware.... £500 for 2.5 years use - that one hell of an expensive kettle!!

Great customer service.

Had a waste disposal unit of theirs from 2015, but failed recently. Contacted them asking for a spare part expecting to pay, but they immediately offered to send me what I needed to get back up and running with no charge (despite it being out of warranty). Very happy with the way I was treated and will remain a loyal customer of theirs.

Outstanding customer service. The company happily replaced the tank on my hot tap when the second unit from new failed again. The latest unit appears more robust and the design seems better.

We were sold the insinkerator with the understanding that is could destroy everything apart from oyster shells and banana skins. Jump to the real world and it struggles with vegetables. I've never had to unblock a sink so much in my life, almost a monthly job. A complete waste of money

Called for a warrenty repair and Insinkerator just give you a local 3rd party repair person to call. I also called this company and they asked me to support my address and after that it all went quiet. They never called back and I got my local plumber to fix it the issue and I paid for it. Very poor service
