Ordered online - quick dispatch, well packaged, good communication. Thank you for providing me with a unique present I'm sure my father will love.
I used to work in picture framing and I know what to look for when handling antique prints - this ticks all the boxes! Conservation standard, certificate of authenticity, and info on the back about the artist and print is a nice extra touch that shows this business really care about what they do.

Well deserving of all the positive reviews, surely one of the best stocked antique map shops anywhere. Lovely couple running the shop, and best pandemic safety procedures I have seen to date. We bought a flower print, so not just maps. Very highly recommended.

Visited Hay-on-Wye during a weekend break and stumbled across the very inviting shop front of Mostly Maps. Stringent COVID-19 procedures in place with a sanitising station, face masks available and white cotton gloves necessary to peruse the stock.

I found a map from 1816 of the County of Middlesex which is my home county. I was surprised to see it for a modest £35. Safely preserved in mount card and supplied with an invoice in a well presented booklet. Very impressed and cannot wait to get the map framed and on the wall.

Lovely shop! We visited a few weeks ago and spent ages perusing the beautiful maps. I ended up ordering one that we had seen online and Sally was so helpful in keeping me updated with the tracking information. It arrived carefully packaged and is just lovely. Thank you!

My Wife and I visited while staying in Hay. What a gem of a shop! We only intended to pop in but I think we spent an hour in there, delving into all the different boxes, categories by geographical area.

The shop sells "mostly maps" of course but also authentic prints of notable locations.

We bought an 18th Century map of Flintshire and a 19th century print of the Bishops Palace, St. David's. We really had to restrain ourselves from buying any more.

The service was excellent and we can't wait to visit again next time we're in town.

Thanks again!

I really love MostlyMaps and always pop in for a browse when I am in Hay. They have a very large and varied collection of maps and other prints and the staff are knowledgeable if you have any questions.

On my most recent trip, they were very well set up for COVID - like all of the shops in Hay, they had hand sanitiser by the door, but they also had a selection of white (cotton?) gloves on a table by the door, so that customers can browse the prints without 'contaminating' them.

This is a gem of a store that you can easily spend hours in just browsing. My visit occurred during the Corona Pandemic. Social distancing and hygiene rules were all being observed and gloves provided to handle any maps. The social history on display is just amazing, you will find a map that shows the area you know and it provides an amazing insight into how much the UK has changed. I picked up a 1920's OS map, great fun comparing it to the modern day equivalent. Hay on Wye isn't just about bookstores, its also has a top class map store.
