Great Haywood Marina

One of the best marinas I have used over the past four years. Friendly and helpful with an excellent boatyard adjacent.

The shop helped me out as they had. Bottles of methylated spirits.as I was almost out which was a lifesaver and I am extremely grateful they were able to sell me a bottle. I was camping over the road at the no-frills campsite

Peaceful. Cafe was over priced, cake was very dry 😕. Wouldn't recommend.

I've only experienced 3 marinas but Great Haywood is clean, well maintained and very scenic. Lots of parking available, free trolleys to load/unload and gated entrances for extra security. There is a cafe and shop close by which were popular, although I didn't visit myself.

Lovely place to walk the dogs. Nice canal walks plus Sudborough Hall walks. Highlight of the journey was the Oatcake Boat moored by the bridge, bacon and sausage oatcake went down a treat plus mince pie. Well worth a visit.

Visiting family at the marina, the farm shop there is well worth a visit, selling plenty of local products, pies, pastries, wines, beers and ciders, plus plenty of other item's.

Lovely friendly place. Great moorings, chandlery and boat yard services. Would recommend 👌
