Baan Thai Massage

I have been to Baan Thai in Strawberry Hill many times over the last 18 months. That fact speaks for itself. I suppose masseuses also have off-days, but I have always found the service friendly and efficient, with very trained, pleasant and cheerful ladies giving a fully professional massage that works as it should do. The prices are reasonable, the staff on reception are helpful and polite, the premises are warm and very clean. What more need be said ? Terry

Amazing Thai Massage which is also great value for money. The therapists are highly trained I also feel compelled to say this not only because it is the best thai massage in the area ( i have been to many ) but because there are some negative reviews here that i don't feel are genuine and i have been coming here regularly for 2 years ( i live very close ) and am supporting my local neighbourhood business too. These people work very hard to provide an excellent service and they should be recognised for exactly that , i certainly don't take any notice of these haters. Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Had a fantastic Thai massage, highly experienced therapist who got rid of my back pain in one session,was recommended by other therapists in the area and did not disappoint,clean facility friendly staff.

You can't reply to the fiction but you could try to reply to all the facts that are stated below.

Yes, there are bo rules for receptionist to stand up but these are good manner and good service, have you heard about it?? And I did not throw the money at the receptionist but on the desk. And didn't feel need to say goodbye.

I forgot to mention that the therapist has her hair down so when she was "massaging" my shoulders (when I was sitting on a table) her hair was all over my face and head. Lush!!

Also, I've been going for a Thai massage for years now (including my trip to Thailand last year) so I know how real massage should look like. And whatever I did receive that day was not a massage.

There is one place nearby where the therapists are wearing the face mask and there is an electric blanket on each table with lovely music in a background and they charge few quid less for a PROPER MASSAGE.

This place is a joke!!
To start with is the rude receptionist who didn't bother to stand up when I came in and demanded the money straight away before the treatment (if you have such policy you should inform customers when they are making a booking so they can make the decision).
When I refused to pay upfront she became even more rude. No one did offer me anything to drink, I had to ask for a glass of water.
The room was scruffy with tiny towels, no calming music, no atmosphere to relax at all.
There was a huge noisy fan in the room that therapist turned on because SHE was hot. I was really cold and has to ask for an extra towel.
She was trying, bless her but she had absolute lack of skills and/or training. She finished the massage 10 min before time because she had to catch her train home which she informed me about. She started to clean the table when I was still sitting on it. No rush ;)
When I came downstairs instead of a nice cup of tea (like in the other llaces) there was a therapist waiting for me demanding a tip.
I seriously don't recommend and certainly won't be back!!

I've been going here for over a year now and the service is still great, I'd highly recommend visiting if you're in need of a massage.

I have been here on 4 separate occasions. Once for a couples message. It's a lovely place the ladies have always been very friendly and polite.
The message is always amazing and the room nice and relaxing.
