Velvet Spa

I went today for a scrub and massage. I was taken in to meet Sophia. Now I've been to many massages and she was far tye best I've been to. Very professional, she knew where my knots are without me telling her. She used the right pressure and technique was excellent. The gentleman at the front was polite and the place was nice and clean. I would strongly recommend. I will definitely be going back again.

- Receptionist is friendly, and the place is clean.
- Very basic in its amenities.

- Room and bed was clean with relaxing background music.
- Was missing the scent factor for the full relaxing experience, incense or essential oils would be nice.

I paid for a deep tissue massage. It didn't feel like a deep tissue massage, as 70% of it consisted of the masseuse just simply rubbing my back.

I left leaving not satisfied, and I don't think I would return again.

This was my first time experience at velvet spa I've had a 1 hour massage and it was the best and so relaxing, the atmosphere around me was amazing nice and clean and fresh. The lovely lady at the reception was amazing and helpful booked my appointment on the phone nice and easy, parking facility was just around the shop either outside or near the garage behind the shop. Shower facilities was amazing and affordability was decent specially around the Essex area il definitely will come back again this time I'm gonna try the soapy massage offer looks appealing and a great offer as well for the price, the best spa massage in area in essex everyone should definitely need to come down here.

Great welcome from gentleman at the front desk. Gave me a bottle of water. Inc. Massage was amazing. Lady was petite but strong well worth a visit

Almost £50 for a massage. Very nice facilties and clean. Only issue is that most of their massues are on the older side and don't give enough pressure on massagees.

Professional staff, very good communication and excellent service. Room is fully equipped with everything. Lovely and friendly masseuse. One of the best experience ever. Definitely I will be back soon. 🙏

Not impressed, have seen great reviews about this place so thought I'd try it out , tried to book last night told them a time I was looking for and they replied saying last body scub/massage for the Saturday was 6pm I said il book that ! They said ring 30mins before , well this morning I get told last body scrub/ massage is at 5pm and also no sauna or another facility's are working or open !!!! I mean really !! What a waste of time ! You take your time searching for a good place to then get messed about like that !!! Don't bother with this place people

I've been using this spa for a few years now. Whilst all the therapists are very professional and very good at their craft, I do happen to have two favourites. The guy on reception is a great first point of contact who explains the different types of massage thoroughly. In all the times I've been there the facilities have been spotless. This place is a must visit⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
