I was recommended to Jon at mechanics-2u by a family member who has their car looked after by Jon.

Jon has fully restored my faith in mechanics after having a dodgy service done last year, he’s been completely honest about everything wrong with my car that unexpectedly cropped up during the service and reliable in fixing it, all whilst providing it at an affordable rate.

He even came all the way to my home in Poole to collect the car and bought it back in the same day, as I couldn’t be without the car for long and I have a little one. Will forever be using Jon for anything to do with my car now. Thank you ☺️

I had a rear brake pipe split very suddenly and lost all braking. Luckily it happened just as I approached my house after a long drive.
I contacted Jon who came round the next morning as arranged and confirmed the problem as a flexi pipe. The item was ordered, Jon came to the house, managed the repair and we arranged for me to take the car to his garage to check everything from a safety point of view. He was very thorough and pointed out a couple of items to monitor. Very professional and friendly attitude with years of experience. I shall certainly be using Jon again for all my servicing needs. I highly recommend Mechanics-2U.

Enthusiastic, professional and honest service. Following a nightmare timing belt/engine failure, Jon managed to diagnose and get our van back up and running from where we left it on the roadside. Highly recommended.

My car suddenly decided it wasn't going to work, so I called my breakdown recovery service out, however they couldn't fix the issue and had to tow it to a garage. After my usual garage said that they couldn't fit my car in for another week (I can't do without my car for that long as have 3 children, work etc), I contacted Jon @ Mechanics 2 U. He was very sympathetic of my situation, and after diagnosing the issue very promptly, had parts ordered, all repaired and ready to go within 48 hours!
Jon was very professional, with great communication throughout regarding costs, how long it would take etc. I will only be using Mechanics 2 U from now on & would highly recommend to anyone 👍

We were on holiday with our touring caravan and the car suspension decided to break 2 days before our long 7 hour journey home. Nightmare!
I called a few local garages who were no help what so ever.
Found mechanics 2 u on google and gave Jon a call.
After explaining our situation Jon was very sympathetic and reassuring, Said he would get the car fixed in time for us and not to worry and try and enjoy the rest of our holiday.
Jon came to us at the campsite the next day, on time.
I originally thought it only needed a new spring fitting but Unfortunatley it turned out to be a bit worse than that.
I needed a whole new shock absorber also.
Jon sourced the parts quickly and at a reasonable price.
Everything back together and working perfectly within a few hours.
I 100% recommend Jon, he's a great mechanic and got us out of a very difficult situation.
