My car went into CCM for its MOT, it’s a fairly old car and did fail on a few bits. They kept in contact with me and gave me costs of everything before doing any work. They were so kind and ensured I was happy with what they were doing and did not go over estimate. They don’t rip you off and make you have work done that isn’t necessary.
They also give your car a lovely clean at the end.

Used CCM Ewhurst today for a gearbox flush and i’m blown away with the difference in how smooth my gearbox now feels when shifting - I can’t even notice when the car is changing gears, it truly is night and day. They let me see a sample of the oil which was removed from my car as requested. Knowledgeable team and Gary is a top bloke who spent collectively a good amount of time with me both on the phone/exchanging emails prior to booking.

Will definitely be using CCM again whenever requiring a gearbox flush or any independent work!
Also, it was a good bonus that they sprayed my car down with a jet wash (whilst not a full wash - still a nice little extra as part of their service, nice one guys.)

If you’re apprehensive using an independent rather than a main dealer, don’t be. CCM are top in the field and professional till the end! 100% recommend.

Just had my MOT done. Service was (as always) great. Car collected and returned, work done car returned cleaned. Have been using CCM for some time now for both cars in the family. Always good value and work done really well.

I used CCM for my MOT recently and they provided a great service, informing me of all of the issues that need looking at without forcing any work on me. They were helpful in providing me with a quote for all the work required as well as a comparison between a more premium service and a lower end service. I would certainly use them again!

Took my Range Rover in for a automatic gearbox flush and service.
Recieved great service. Staff are very friendly and courteous. The work done on the Car was excellent and now drives like new. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

My van broke down due to a failure with the clutch it also needed an MOT.

CCM were recommended by close family and friends so I went with the recommendation.

When I first spoke with the lm they made me feel confident they could get the van sorted with ease and would have it back within a week. This is wasn’t ideal as i use my van for work on a daily basis, but I understand fixing a clutch isn’t an easy job.

They were due to collect “mid Tuesday morning” but didn’t turn up till 4:30pm.

After the collection I didn’t hear an update at all until Monday afternoon when I called to see how they were getting on and I was told it’s on track and will be ready to collect the following day.

I hadn’t heard from them on Tuesday so called to see how it’s going. After the 4th time of trying to get hold of a member of staff the phone was answered and I was told that the work had been put on hold due to an MOT failure. The call operator couldn’t give me any more information and I was told I’d be called back. I wasn’t. I turned up to the garage and was then explained as to why I hadn’t been informed on the status of my van.”short staffed and didn’t have time to call you to approve the work”.

I was told it will be ready Wednesday. It wasn’t. A seat belt that was meant to be ordered wasn’t. And may be delivered Thursday but if it isn’t I will have to wait 2-3 days for an eBay delivery. Lucky it was delivered Thursday fitted and returned to me.

After £1510.03 payment the vehicle was return to me but with no use of the radio as a code was needed to me entered…

I called again to ask for the code and was told “ahh that would have happened when I disconnect the gearbox, I will call Renault now and see if I can get the code”. As a customer that just spent a fair amount I would have thought the little things like a radio I use for hands free to take business calls whilst driving from job to job would have been checked. An apology would have been nice as well.

I received an email to say I will have to take to Renault for diagnostics or removed the radio myself and use a website to get a code. Which I don’t see as my responsibility.

The communication had been awful from the start and the lack of it gave off the impression that’s fixing the van was more of hassle to them than anything.

The van was returned with the exterior washed and I wasn’t charged for the labour of fitting the seatbelt buckle. But still feel very much short changed as I now have to rectify this radio myself and will not be able to answer the phone using hands free to potential customers therefore risk losing customers.

I won’t be returning or recommending but they probably aren’t bothered it.

I think CCM do provide quality repairs at a fairly reasonable cost (compared to a main dealer). When I've spoken to a mechanic/technician the progress and on-going issues have been well explained. I would say however say that CCM really need to improve on updates from the front desk - I understand that during busy times it can be difficult, but over a week I had times when the phone wasn't answered after many attempts, or I didn't get a call back when told I would do, or I had to chase up near the end of the day so I'd have a chance to get to the garage before closing if my car was fixed. If it was quicker/simpler to keep customers informed by text message then that would help (they do send booking reminders by text).

Leaving a review for some previous work completed. CCM Did a repair on my MK7 Golf R gearbox, was a fault that had barely any information about but they found via a VW bulletin it was a faulty bearing. I had scoured the Internet and also taken this to multiple other garages who could not diagnose the issue. Also helped me out with getting the works approved with my warranty company. Provided a lease vehicle for the duration of the work which helped greatly. I did chase up the work, but always managed to speak to someone or have someone call me back, this was a huge job which required recoding of the gearbox as well as fitting a new DSG gearbox. CCM did my job to a very high standard and i would use them again.
